AirStart goes the distance to achieve Best Managed Gold Standard status

The aviation innovator holds gold status for the eighth year.

TORONTO, May 9, 2023

AirStart Incorporated (“AirStart”) has landed on Deloitte Canada’s Best Managed Companies list for the eighth straight year, as a Gold Standard winner.

Given the challenges the aviation industry has faced over the last three years, the achievement “is an honour,” says CEO and founder Rob Wills, and is a testament to the hard work of the entire AirStart team:

“The pandemic hit aviation especially hard. But instead of slowing down, we emerged stronger and found innovative ways to operate our business, build new relationships, and help keep our clients in flight. Through our past successes, our team is more than ready to continue going the extra mile to serve our clients as our industry recovers.”

The team’s ingenuity and adaptability meant that AirStart emerged from the COVID-19 pandemic well positioned for growth. As the aviation industry returns to pre-COVID numbers, AirStart continues to maintain the highest levels of service in the aviation aftermarket while finding new ways to reduce their customers’ cost per available seat mile (CASM).

“Our commitment to our partners is what drives us every day, even during difficult times,” says Anne Vinet, Executive Vice President, Marketing and Business Development.

“Now that we can meet in person again, our relationships with our clients and partners are even stronger.”
